Fannan Fellowship Now Open!

The Fannan Fellowship, a scholarship initiative led by Sean Fannan, a South Tahoe High graduate, is now accepting applications from all South Tahoe High School seniors. Driven by a commitment to paying it forward and providing support for students to achieve their goals, this fellowship provides scholarships and seeks to create a support system fostering a strong sense of community among past and present awardees.

Eligibility and Awards

Aspiring South Tahoe High School seniors planning to attend a 4-year university in the Fall of 2024 are eligible to apply for the Fannan Fellowship. The fellowship presents an opportunity to secure one of three awards, each in the amount of $20,000. This financial support will be distributed in $5,000 annual increments over a four-year period, directly contributing to the recipients' university education.

Seeking Creative Problem Solvers

The Fannan Fellowship actively seeks out creative problem solvers across all fields of study. The application process places a focus on responses related to Marcella Foundation’s core operating pillars: Feed, Read, and Lead. Finalists will further have the chance to engage in Zoom interviews, providing deeper insights into their personal journeys and aspirations.

Annual Fannan Fellowship Luncheon

A highlight of the Fannan Fellowship is the annual luncheon, a crucial component scheduled every summer. This event is envisioned as a platform for networking, mentorship, and the creation of enduring connections among fellowship recipients.

Apply Now

All South Tahoe High School seniors with dreams of attending a 4-year university are encouraged to apply for the Fannan Fellowship through the official website. The application window is open until February 29, 2024.
