Making Spirits Bright: Thanks, Volunteers, for a Successful Toys for Tots Drive!

In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the 2023 Toys for Tots toy drive in South Lake Tahoe, led by organizer Kristi Bell, supported by local businesses, and powered by Marcella Foundation Volunteers proved to be a wonderful success. This collaborative effort brought joy to 357 children in need.

Partnerships and Volunteers:

A special thanks to each one of the Marcella Foundation Volunteers and the California Conservation Corps for your crucial role in organizing and sorting the donated toys. Last year, Toys for Tots had three volunteers and the toy sorting took all day. This year, we knocked it out in just a few hours! Your dedication ensured that every child received a special gift during the holiday season.

Community Unity:

The success of the toy drive reflects the incredible strength of our local community. Local businesses, charitable organizations, and volunteers joined forces, creating a brighter season and strengthening the bonds within Tahoe. It’s such an honor to serve in such a special community!
