✨ We’re Honored! Marcella Foundation Receives Blue Ribbon Award for Community Enrichment ✨

We’re proud and excited to share that the Marcella Foundation was awarded the Blue Ribbon Award for Community Enrichment at the Tahoe Chamber’s Blue Ribbon Awards last night!

This recognition is a celebration of our mission in action—and a reminder of why we do what we do. At the Marcella Foundation, everything we build is rooted in our three core pillars: FEED, READ, and LEAD.

Through our current programs—FeedTahoe, ReadingPals, Fannan Fellows, Imagination Library, and Book Mode—we aim to:

• FEED the community by increasing access to nutritious food and reducing food waste

• READ by encouraging early literacy and making books more accessible to local families

• LEAD by empowering youth and emerging leaders to create change in their own communities

Receiving this award for Community Enrichment means the world to us. It recognizes not only the work of our team but also the strength of the community that surrounds and supports us.

This award belongs to our incredible community—every volunteer, partner, donor, and neighbor who believes in this mission and shows up with heart and hands to make it real.
